Islamic Geography Days #1 - From Past to Present: Bangladesh

As the Boğaziçi Islamic Studies Community, we launched the "Islamic Geography Days" event series. Through these events, we aimed to explore different regions of the Islamic world from historical, cultural, and religious perspectives.
In the first event of our series, we focused on Bangladesh. This presentation covered Bangladesh's historical transformations, cultural structure, and religious identity. We also discussed the region's current social and political issues. Together with our participants, we reflected on Bangladesh's place in the Islamic world.
