Islam and Women: Methodological Problems

As the Boğaziçi Islamic Studies Community, we organized a conference addressing the issue of Islam and women from a methodological perspective.
With the participation of Nazife Şişman, this event discussed how the issue of women has been approached, the differences between modern and traditional perspectives, and the methodological challenges in this field. Our speaker evaluated various approaches to the topic of women in Islamic thought and provided key insights into the fundamental problems in this area.
