The Experience of Capitalism in Japan

Boğaziçi University Islamic Studies Club organized a conference titled "The Experience of Capitalism in Japan" on April 15, 2016, with the participation of Prof. Dr. Ayşe Selçuk Esenbel. The event addressed the development of capitalism in Japan, its social and cultural structure, and its effects on modern Japanese society. Prof. Dr. Ayşe Selçuk Esenbel shared insights into Japan's transition to a capitalist economy and the economic and social changes that occurred under the influence of the West.
