As the Boğaziçi Islamic Studies Community, we organized a seminar discussing the place of revelation in the Islamic scholarly tradition.
With the participation of Prof. Dr. Mürteza Bedir, this event examined the issue of understanding the Qur’an within its historical context. Important evaluations were made regarding how revelation has been positioned in the Islamic scholarly tradition and the methods used by Islamic scholars to interpret the Qur’an.
