As the Boğaziçi Islamic Studies Club, we are organizing an event to commemorate Malcolm X on the 49th anniversary of his martyrdom. Malcolm X was an influential figure whose struggle and ideas continue to shed light on both his time and the present day. His life remains an inspiration for humanity through his fight for justice and freedom.
In this significant program, we will listen to a speech by Prof. Dr. Recep Şentürk on Malcolm X’s thoughts and legacy. The talk will focus on his struggle for social justice, human rights, and freedom. Malcolm X’s experiences and transformation will be analyzed in relation to contemporary issues that remain relevant today.
We invite everyone interested in this important discussion. Those who wish to gain a deeper understanding of Malcolm X’s life and struggle, and draw inspiration from his ideas, are welcome to attend our event.
